๐ช Global Policy
Cookie Policy โ All Countries
This policy applies to every visitor, in every country we serve. It is written to meet UK GDPR, EU GDPR and US CCPA/CPRA expectations, and it applies globally โ not just where the law forces it.
What we use
- Session & preference cookies โ to keep you signed in (sos_token) and to remember your choices (consent, language, favourites). These are first-party only, and the session cookie is HttpOnly, Secure and scoped to our domain.
- Consent record โ a small local record of your accept/decline choice, stored on your own device.
- Analytics โ Umami, privacy-first and cookieless: it counts visits without identifying you, and without advertising profiles.
- Language โ the Google Translate widget may set its own cookies; you can decline them and the site still works.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal data.
- We never run cross-site advertising trackers.
- We never collect more than the platform needs to work.
Your choices, anywhere in the world
- Accept all โ full functionality, remembered preferences.
- Essential only โ sign-in and safety still work; non-essential extras are switched off.
- Withdraw consent at any time โ clear your browser's site data for caringforno1.com, or contact hello@caringforno1.com and we'll help.
Country notes
- UK & EU โ consent banner on first visit; essential cookies always allowed; withdraw anytime.
- USA (California & others) โ we do not "sell" or "share" personal information in the CCPA sense; no opt-out tool is needed because the activity never happens.
- Everywhere else โ the same protections apply: privacy-first analytics, first-party-only session data, no selling, ever.
The full data-protection detail lives in our Privacy Policy. Both documents are kept public and permanent โ the honest map, no small print surprises.
