When prompted, allow your browser to install from unknown sources (or open Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps and enable it for your browser).
Open the downloaded file (from Notifications or your Downloads app) and tap Install.
Open S·OS. Done — it runs independently of the Play Store.

Android shows a warning because the app isn't from the Play Store. That is the point — it's your standalone app. The warning is about the store, not the app.

🍎 iOS — the honest truth

Apple does not allow free sideloading for normal users, and there is no legitimate way to bypass that. For staff/trusted devices, the honest routes are:

Enterprise distribution (Apple Developer Enterprise Program) — install on your own organisation's devices, outside the App Store.
TestFlight — up to 10,000 testers for 90 days.
EU alternative distribution (iOS 17.4+, DMA) — alternative marketplaces or web distribution, EU only.

Anyone claiming you can "override" Apple for the general public is not being straight with you.
