# S·OS — Staff & Department Enrolment Guide

Step-by-step for enrolling every staff member and department lead.

## 1. Decide the role (access level)

| Person | Role | What they get |
|---|---|---|
| Owner / administrator | `admin` | Everything — users, services, licences |
| Department lead / team manager | `supervisor` | Their department's tasks and reports |
| Operations / service desk | `operator` or `support_2nd_line` | Services, tickets, dashboards |
| Finance | `finance_staff` | Finances and reporting |
| Sales / CRM | `sales_staff` | CRM, leads, sales |
| HR | `hr_staff` | HR, absence, staff records |
| Warehouse / manufacturing | `warehouse_staff` / `manufacturing_staff` | Inventory / SAP420 modules |
| Network team | `network_engineer` / `network_ops` | Network tools and monitoring |
| Everyone else | `user` | Own tasks and calendar |

## 2. Enrol them (admin does this)

1. Sign in as admin at `caringforno1.com`.
2. Open **Admin — Users & Access** (`#/admin`) → **👥 Users**.
3. Fill: **Email** (their work email), **Password** (8+ chars), **Role** (from the table above), **Department** (their department name).
4. Press **Add user** → done. The platform emails are sent from `hello@caringforno1.com`.

## 3. Tell the new person

- Open `caringforno1.com` → **Sign in** with their email + the password you set.
- Home page first, then **Open S·OS**.
- They see only what their role allows — nothing more.
- First day: check their **Calendar** (`#/calendar`) — tasks appear there with due-date pop-up alerts.

## 4. Department leads — extra steps

1. Enrol the lead with `supervisor` (or the department role) + Department name.
2. Their team members: same department name in the Department field.
3. Leads manage their team's tasks in the Calendar; admin can change any role later in `#/admin`.

## 5. Offboarding

Admin → `#/admin` → **Remove** next to the user. Access stops immediately.
